Cedarwood essential oil is extracted through the process of steam distillation from timber portions of the cedar wooden tree. The most important components of cedarwood essential oil are alpha-cedrene, beta-cedrene, cedrol, widdrol, thujopsene and a collection of sesquiterpenes — all of which make contributions a fantastic deal to its health blessings.

I love cedarwood and have tried all three species; atlas, Virginia and Mexicana. this cedarwood has a sweet and pleasant smell. I personally prefer this oil over any other.
